Wreaths Laid before Martyrs Cemeteriesun
Pyongyang, September 9 (KCNA) -- Wreaths were laid before the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong, the Patriotic Martyrs Cemetery and the Fatherland Liberation War Martyrs Cemetery on September 9, the 66th founding anniversary of the DPRK.

Seen standing on the wreath-laying stands of the cemeteries were wreaths sent by supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

Present at the wreath-laying ceremonies were Kim Yong Nam, Pak Pong Ju, Hyon Yong Chol and other senior party, state and army officials, chairman of a friendly party, officials of the party, armed forces and power organs, working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions, service personnel of the Korean People's Army (KPA) and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces (KPISF) and Pyongyangites.

Wreaths in the names of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK and the DPRK Cabinet were placed on the wreath-laying stand of the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong.

A wreath in the joint name of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK and the DPRK Cabinet was laid on the wreath-laying stand of the Patriotic Martyrs Cemetery and a wreath in the joint name of the Central Committee of the WPK, the Central Military Commission of the WPK and the National Defence Commission of the DPRK on the wreath-laying stand "Soul of Heroes" of the Fatherland Liberation War Martyrs Cemetery.

Also placed there were wreaths in the name of the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces, working people's organizations, ministries, national institutions, units of the KPA and the KPISF, organs of education, public health and media, and party and power organs, institutions, factories and farms in Pyongyang.

The participants observed a moment's silence in memory of the martyrs.

They looked round the cemeteries.
