Reception Given by Brazilian Ambassador
Pyongyang, September 5 (KCNA) -- Roberto Colin, Brazilian ambassador to the DPRK, gave a reception at the Taedonggang Diplomatic Club on Friday on the occasion of the 192nd anniversary of the independence of Brazil.

Present there on invitation were Ri Su Yong, minister of Foreign Affairs, Pak Kun Gwang, vice department director of the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea, Ri Kwang Gun, vice-minister of External Economic Relations, So Ho Won, vice-chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries who doubles as chairman of the DPRK-Brazil Friendship and Culture Association, officials concerned, foreign diplomatic envoys, representatives of international organizations and staff members of foreign embassies here.

Staff members of the Brazilian embassy were on hand.

The ambassador in a speech expressed the stand of Brazil on boosting the bilateral relations and cooperation. He extended warm congratulations to the Korean people on the occasion of the 66th birthday of the DPRK.

He wished the Korean people bigger successes in the socio-economic development under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Ri Su Yong in a speech said that the government and people of Brazil are achieving the sustained development of economy under the leadership of President Dilma Vana Rousseff.

The DPRK will make positive efforts to expand the multi-faceted bilateral relations with Brazil, he noted.
