Founding Anniversary of DPRK Marked by Bulgarian Organization
Pyongyang, September 5 (KCNA) -- The Bulgaria-Korea Friendship Association issued a bulletin on August 28 on the occasion of the 66th founding anniversary of the DPRK.

The bulletin carried an article titled "Korea's reunification, most urgent task" which said:

The Korean peninsula divided into the north and the south due to foreign forces still remains the most acute hotspot in the world.

The history of Korea's division began with the U.S. forces' occupation of south Korea in September, 1945 after the liberation of the country and it is still divided.

The DPRK was founded and led by President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and is now led by Marshal Kim Jong Un. It advanced many proposals for the reunification of the country and has made tireless efforts to carry them out.

Kim Il Sung advanced the three principles of national reunification, the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo and the ten-point programme of the great unity of the whole nation and Kim Jong Il held the historic north-south summits and provided the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration.

After taking office in 2008, Lee Myung Bak of south Korea totally denied the north-south agreements and blocked the cooperative relations between the north and the south.

Park Geun Hye is also pursuing the policy following the U.S.

The biggest stumbling block in the way of reunifying Korea is that the U.S. forces remain in south Korea to keep their strategic position in Northeast Asia.

It is also that the successive rulers of south Korea are seeking the "unification through absorption" by following the U.S.
