Suppression of Progressive Religionist under Fire in S. Korea
Pyongyang, September 2 (KCNA) -- The south Korean puppet police is suppressing Rev. Pak Chang Sin of the Jonju Parish Priests Group of the south Korean Catholic Priests' Council for Justice on charges of the violation of the ill-famed "Security Law", according to Voice of People, an internet paper of south Korea on August 31.

At the mass on the situation held in Kunsan in November last year Pak made a speech to the effect that the U.S.-south Korea joint military exercises pose a threat to the north.

The puppet North Jolla Provincial District Police Agency is going to summon and investigate Pak under the pretext of looking into the complaint made by conservative organizations, claiming what he said was aimed to favor the north and assumed the nature of benefiting the enemy.

The Catholic Priests' Council for Justice termed the security authorities' attempt to investigate Pak's speech by invoking the "Security Law" a clear suppression of religion.
