Indiscriminate Suppression of Jongyojo Condemned in S. Korea
Pyongyang, September 2 (KCNA) -- The Teachers Union of south Korea (Jongyojo) in a statement on August 30 condemned the puppet forces for cracking down on Jongyojo, according to Voice of People, an internet paper of south Korea.

The statement recalled that on August 29 the security authorities issued a warrant of arrest for three members including the chairman of Jongyojo for the mere reason that they took the lead in Jongyojo's campaign for publishing a declaration on the situation and the campaign for leaving school early, etc.

It is an all-out politically-motivated suppression of Jongyojo, the statement said, adding the action of Jongyojo can never be punished as it is a legitimate exercise of its right.

The "government's" indiscriminate suppression will be recorded in history as an act of trampling down the freedom of expression, it charged.
