The Russian paper Byvor on August 22 carried an article titled "Songun brilliant commander and socialist Korea" illustrated with a photo of Marshal Kim Jong Un. It said:

Socialist Korea founded and led by the great Comrade Kim Il Sung and Comrade Kim Jong Il is winning victories under the wise leadership of Comrade Kim Jong Un.

The DPRK is demonstrating its might as an independent power the U.S. dares not provoke and an invincible fortress defending the peace in Northeast Asia and the rest of the world.

The U.S. was dispirited and its followers were stupefied with the grit and pluck of Kim Jong Un who is reacting to hardline stand with the toughest measure, dealing a heavy blow to military threats.

He is leading the army and people of the DPRK to make great leaping forward in building a socialist economic power and high civilized nation.

The world praised this as a miracle in the true sense of the word and the great victory of his Songun leadership.

The Bangladeshi papers The Daily Folk and Blitz on August 16 carried articles titled "By dint of Songun" and "Day of Songun in DPRK".

They praised Kim Jong Il for turning the Korean People's Army into a matchless army and the DPRK into a nuclear weapons state and satellite manufacturer and launcher.

The State Radio and the Apsara TV and Radio of Cambodia introduced the sacred revolutionary life of Kim Jong Il who laid the eternal foundation for the prosperity of socialist Korea with his outstanding and tested Songun leadership.
