Going round various shops of the factory modernly built thanks to the energetic guidance of leader Kim Jong Il, he learned about production of sheet glass of various sizes, heated reflex glass and hard glass, etc. and then held a consultative meeting.

The meeting emphasized the importance of the duty the factory is performing in increasing the local production of varieties of glassware and discussed the issues of pushing forward the project on an expansion basis.

It called upon the officials and workers of the factory to boost the production and thus positively contribute to accelerating the building of an economic power and improving the standard of people's living.

Prior to it, the premier went round the Jangsan Mine and discussed the ways of drastically increasing the production of fire-proof materials.
