S. Korean Authorities Accused for Distorting Assertions for Independence, Democracy and Reunification

Pyongyang, August 18 (KCNA) -- The south Korean internet paper Voice of People carried an editorial on Aug. 14 denouncing the puppet authorities for distorting the assertions of the south Korean people for independence, democracy and reunification.

The editorial said:

The present regime termed progressive organizations' assertions for independence, democracy and reunification ones for following the "north's revolutionary line against the south".

Independence, democracy and reunification are quite indifferent to the theory of "bringing down system" touted by the authorities.

The south Korean progressive organizations are supporting the June 15 joint declaration agreed upon by the south and the north. Just are the assertions for realizing independence against outside forces and democracy against dictatorship and achieving national reunification through national unity.
