Japan's Apology for Past Crimes Demanded by S. Korean Organization
Pyongyang, August 17 (KCNA) -- The Council for the Solution of the Issue of the Volunteers Corps in south Korea held the 1139th Wednesday rally outside the Japanese embassy in Seoul on August 13 and demanded Japan make an official apology for the past crimes.

At the rally speakers said many victims of sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army died with deep rancor against the Japanese imperialists' criminal acts.

They noted that the south Korean authorities should wrest an official apology and reparation from the Japanese government.

Then the organization handed over to the Japanese embassy the signature paper signed by more than 1,562,000 persons all over the world condemning the sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army.
