Anniversary of Korea's Liberation Marked by Papers of Indonesia, Kuwait
|Pyongyang, August 15 (KCNA) -- Indonesian and Kuwaiti papers carried articles to mark the 69th anniversary of Korea's liberation.
The Indonesian newspaper International Media on August 7 said in an article titled "Korea's liberation, historical turning point":
August 15 is the day of Korea's liberation.
The day in 1945 marked a historical turning point for the Korean people.
The liberation of the country help the Korean people get rid of the plight of the Japanese imperialists' colonial slaves and enjoy an independent and dignified life as the masters of their destiny, the state and society.
As the DPRK, the first people's democratic state in the East, was founded, Korea which once eclipsed in the world map could emerge in the international arena as an independent and sovereign state.
The DPRK turned into peculiar socialism centered on the popular masses and an invincible power unfazed by any storm.
It is taking the Juche idea and the Songun idea founded by President Kim Il Sung and developed in depth by leader Kim Jong Il as its guidelines.
The DPRK is admired by the international community as it is adhering to its idea, social system and cause along the path chosen by itself for a long period.
The Kuwaiti newspaper Kuwait Times on August 11 carried an article praising the exploits performed by the President who rescued the density of the country and nation and built a socialist power independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in defence.
