At the second trial of the case of attempted rebellion of the Unified Progressive Party the Seoul High Court sentenced to prison terms those involved in the case on charges of the violation of the "Security Law", the statement noted.

It accused the court of making such unreasonable judgment that those indicted were guilty though it had been fully revealed that the case lacks evidence.

Recalling that the court inflicted penalties on them by invoking the "Security Law", the anachronistic evil law, in infringement upon conscience and the freedom of expression and association, the statement branded the action as one against the nation and democracy as it blocks independence and peaceful reunification.
