He comprehensively embodied the Songun revolutionary leadership on a new high stage in the end of the last century.

He established the Songun politics as the main political mode of socialism on the basis of the scientific analysis of the prevailing situation.

He put forward the People's Army as the main force of the revolution and led it to make a breakthrough not only in the defence of the country but in socialist construction.

His Songun politics brought a great fruition.

The KPA has grown up to be the army strong in ideology and faith and the invincible combat rank fully prepared for attack and defence. The defence industry of the DPRK has made all ultra-modern arms and equipment.

The single-minded unity of the DPRK in which the whole army and all people are firmly united around the leader, in particular, have been more firmly consolidated.

And a great turn is taking place in building a thriving socialist nation.

The DPRK has become a satellite manufacturer and launcher and nuclear weapons state.

All these achievements are the valuable fruition of Kim Jong Il's Songun revolutionary leadership.
