Thanks to this idea, the Korean People's Revolutionary Army, which the Japanese imperialists called a "drop in the ocean", could lay a firm mass foundation for the armed struggle, strengthen the kinship with popular masses during the guerilla warfare and thus liberate the country from the colonial rule of the Japanese imperialists under the leadership of Kim Il Sung.

During the anti-Japanese revolutionary war, the guerilla warfare fully showed its validity and efficiency as a method of armed struggle to destroy the powerful imperialists' army by means of ideological and tactical superiority.
