Probe into Truth about Ferry Sewol Disaster Demanded
Pyongyang, August 12 (KCNA) -- Actions demanding a probe into the truth about the ferry Sewol disaster are unabated in Seoul, according to KBS, MBC and CBS of south Korea.

More than 70 bereaved family members of the ferry Sewol disaster on August 8 attempted to enter the "National Assembly" building in protest against the agreement reached by the puppet political camp turning down their demand for the institution of a special law on the ferry Sewol.

They offered strong resistance against the riot police.

Next day bereaved families stormed the building of an opposition party and launched an indefinite sit-in strike.

The Measure Committee of the Families of Victims, Missing Persons and Survivors of the Ferry Sewol Sinking Accident of south Korea held a meeting at Kwanghwamun square on August 9 with at least 1 800 citizens attending. It held that the special law should contain the rights to investigate and indict those responsible for the tragedy for a proper probe into the truth about it.

Members of the Moviemen's Association for the Institution of the Special Law of the Ferry Sewol held a press conference at Kwanghwamun square at which they declared that they would stage a hunger strike till the truth about the disaster is probed.

Students also attempted to occupy the office of the floor leader of an opposition party on August 9.
