U.S. Imperialists and S. Korean Puppet Forces' Moves to Ignite War against DPRK Slammed

Pyongyang, August 10 (KCNA) -- Civic, public and religious organizations of south Korea held a press conference outside the U.S. embassy in Seoul on August 7 in denunciation of the moves to ignite a war against the north, according to the south Korean internet paper Jaju Minbo.

At the press conference the organizations denounced south Korea and the U.S. for planning to stage Ulji Freedom Guardian joint military drills in mid-August by mobilizing huge armed forces in different parts of south Korea. They went on:

The south Korean authorities expressed their stand of welcoming the U.S. action to deploy THAAD in south Korea. This is aimed to do harm to compatriots.

They urged the authorities to stop war moves harmful to compatriots and opt for reconciliation and exchange with the north.

They thrust a letter of protest to the U.S. embassy.
