It has been confirmed that many pigs were infected with foot-and-mouth disease at a farm of Hapchon, South Kyongsang Province on August 7 in the wake of the occurrence of the disease in Uisong and Koryong counties, North Kyongsang Province late in July.

The farm is 27 km away from the place where the foot-and-mouth disease occurred in Koryong County, it reported.
