Day of Korean People's Victory in War Celebrated in Different Countries
Pyongyang, August 6 (KCNA) -- Seminars, photo exhibitions and film shows took place in Bangladesh and Nigeria from July 23 to 30 on the occasion of the 61st anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

On display at the venues of the events were photos documenting the exploits of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Also displayed there were photos dealing with the struggle of the service personnel and people of the DPRK to defend the sovereignty of the country and build a thriving nation.

Films shown included Korean film "Reply of Korea."

The chairman of the Bangladesh Group for the Study of the Songun Policy said:

Under the wise guidance of Kim Il Sung the army and people of the DPRK inflicted a heavy defeat upon the U.S., the first of its kind in history, though it boasted of being "strongest" in the world. They thus reliably protected the dignity and sovereignty of the country.

The DPRK could shatter to smithereens the myth of the U.S. "mightiness" and work miracles thanks to the President's outstanding strategies, tactics and original war methods.

The Korean people are now dynamically pushing ahead with the building of socialism while resolutely frustrating all aggression moves of the imperialists under the Songun revolutionary leadership of Kim Jong Un.

Speakers at the event held in Nigeria praised Kim Il Sung as peerless illustrious commander and invincible and iron-willed commander who led the army and people of the DPRK to achieve victory in the war with his gifted military idea, superb stratagem and rare commanding art.
