S. Korean Prosecution's Unreasonable Suppression of People under Fire
Pyongyang, August 1 (KCNA) -- The Solidarity for Progress in south Korea in a statement on July 29 denounced the prosecution for suppressing those detained on charges of involvement in the fabricated case.

The statement accused the prosecution of demanding 20 years in prison, etc. for Ri Sok Gi and others on charges of involvement in the attempted rebellion.

It strongly condemned the prosecution authorities for cracking down on them for no reason.

The essence of the case of attempted rebellion is the present regime's anachronistic witch-hunt aimed to "eliminate the followers of the north" which had been kicked off by the Intelligence Service, it charged.

It demanded the prosecution authorities stop at once the unreasonable suppression.
