War Victory Day of Korean People Observed Abroad
Pyongyang, August 1 (KCNA) -- There took place events in India, Nepal, Poland, Germany and Guinea on the occasion of the 61st anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

They included meetings, seminars, book and photo exhibitions, lectures and round-table talks from July 24 to 26.

Displayed at the venues of those events were photos documenting the feats of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Also on show were works of the peerless great men of Mt. Paektu and books and photos showing Songun Korea.

The chairman of the Juche Philosophy Study Committee of India said July 27 is recorded as the day of the great victory when the Korean people shattered the U.S. myth of "mightiness" and protected the dignity and sovereignty of the country.

The chairman of the Indian Intellectuals' Society for the Study of the Juche Idea noted that the Korean people could achieve the miraculous victory in the Korean War thanks to Kim Il Sung.

The chairman of the Tradition Association of the Polish People's Army said:

Kim Il Sung wisely led the Fatherland Liberation War and beat down the U.S.-led imperialist allied forces, working a miracle startling the world people.

The outstanding commanding art, unique strategies and tactics and war methods with which he made the U.S. imperialists who boasted of being the "strongest" in the world bite the dust by leading the army and people are recorded as shining pages of the world history of war.

He was a peerless strategist, indeed.
