S. Korean Authorities' Action of Refusing Institution of Special Law Slammed
Pyongyang, July 31 (KCNA) -- South Korean people of different social standings including civic, religious, academic and cultural circles held a meeting in Seoul on July 28 to demand the institution of a special law to probe the truth about the ferry Sewol disaster, according to the south Korean Internet paper Voice of People.

At the meeting speakers said that no longer visible is the appearance of the "government" and the ruling party which begged for one more chance after they failed to rescue hundreds of children.

In order to prevent disasters and build a secure society, it is necessary to take a measure that had not been taken before, they noted, adding: If the truth is not probed, more disaster will occur.

They stressed that the truth about the disaster should be probed under any circumstances.
