S. Korean Organizations Demand Withdrawal of "Law on Supervision for Public Peace"
Pyongyang, July 30 (KCNA) -- More than 20 civic and social organizations in North Jolla Province, south Korea held a press conference in Jonju on July 28 supporting Rev. Han Sang Ryol disobeying the "law on supervision for public peace".

The Lee Myung Bak puppet group threw Han behind bars on charges of the violation of the "Security Law" in 2010 for visiting Pyongyang to take part in the joint national event to mark the 10th anniversary of the publication of the June 15 joint declaration.

After his release from prison, the present authorities have watched his every movement and suppressed him by invoking the "law on supervision for public peace".

When Han refused to inform the public security authorities of his movement in protest against their action, police are threatening him with a series of summonses to appear in the police station.

The organizations at the press conference supported Han for refusing to comply with the requirements stipulated in the "law" after his discharge from prison.

Lots of progressive figures are suffering due to the law which originated from the evil law during the Japanese imperialists' rule, they said.

They declared they would fight it out till the evil law is abolished.

They demanded the authorities repeal the law immediately.
