The sculptures successfully depict the people of the DPRK, who turned out in the struggle to assist the Korean People's Army (KPA) in the war against the U.S. imperialists.

During the war, the Korean people carried munitions and food to battlefields, trounced enemies together with the KPA and evacuated the wounded, encouraging KPA soldiers to great feats of heroism.

They also initiated various forms of mass movements for assistance to the front, including drives for raising funds for military equipment and a drive for dedicating foodstuffs to the army.

Participated in those movements were people of all social standings like workers, peasants, businessmen and students.

And with nothing could the U.S. imperialists stop their movement.

The nation-wide movement made a great contribution to winning the final victory in the war.
