Minju Joson Calls for Earlier Dismantlement of "UN Command"
Pyongyang, July 29 (KCNA) -- The "UN Command", a leftover of the outdated era, should be dismantled as early as possible and the U.S. troops in south Korea should go back to their base in the mainland, says Minju Joson Tuesday in a commentary.

The U.S. has massively introduced war hardware and supplies into south Korea to provoke a new war, turning it into the world's biggest nuclear arsenal, the commentary notes, and goes on:

The U.S. huge war hardware for aggression are busy operating in the waters off the Korean peninsula and its vicinity and in their skies, watching for a chance to mount a preemptive strike at the DPRK.

What matters is that all the moves of the U.S. for a war of aggression are being pushed forward under the signboard of "UN Forces".

The U.S. is abusing the sacred name of the UN in a bid to justify its moves for stifling the DPRK although they are aimed to unleash a fresh war and is keeping the "UN Command", a ghost-like mechanism, as it is.

In recent years the U.S. has made desperate efforts to paint the "UN Command" as "a multi-national coalition body" and use it as a mother body of NATO of Asian version.

Peace and security can never be ensured on the Korean peninsula as long as the "UN Command," which the U.S. used as a tool for aggression during the past Korean war, remains in south Korea and the U.S. forces are present there.
