The statement of the Foreign Ministry of the DPRK was released on July 19 as regards the abnormal situation where a serious threat is posed to the peace and security on the Korean Peninsula owing to the U.S. and its followers' moves hostile to the DPRK and the statement of a spokesman for the Policy Department of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK was issued on July 20 under the title "The U.S. should stop making reckless remarks as regards the DPRK's just measure for bolstering up the capability for self-defence."
