Army and People of DPRK Visit Kunja Revolutionary Site
Pyongyang, July 28 (KCNA) -- The Kunja Revolutionary Site is visited by an endless stream of service personnel, people from all walks of life and school youth and children on the occasion of the 61st anniversary of the victory of the Korean people in the Fatherland Liberation War.

More than 100 000 people visited the site this year with its number increasing in July.

The revolutionary site in Songchon County, South Phyongan Province is associated with the exploits President Kim Il Sung performed by visiting it several times in the period of the Fatherland Liberation War in order to arouse the working people to the drive for producing munitions in the wartime.

In the revolutionary site, there are historic relics showing the efforts and feats of the President who instilled the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance into the working people and showed warm loving care for them.

There are also materials telling that leader Kim Jong Il made sure that the area was spruced up as a revolutionary site to glorify in the history of the country the fighting spirit displayed by the workers in Kunja-ri during the days of the war.
