Fireworks Celebrate War Victory Day
Pyongyang, July 27 (KCNA) -- Fireworks were displayed in Pyongyang Sunday to celebrate the 61st anniversary of the victory of the Korean people in the Fatherland Liberation War.

School youth and children and other people gathered in different parts of the capital including Kim Il Sung Square, Mansu Hill and Okryu Bridge along the River Taedong on the bank of which rises the Tower of the Juche Idea, waiting for the moment when fireworks will be displayed.

As "Long Live Generalissimo Kim Il Sung" resounded forth, myriads of fire columns shot up to the sky, making thunderous sound.

Kaleidoscopic fireworks were displayed as if offering respects and greetings to President Kim Il Sung.

The display of fascinating fireworks continued amid the playing of songs "July 27 March" and "Holiday of Great War Victory".

Fireworks of various shapes and colors were displayed nonstop as if reflecting the immense reverence of all service personnel and people for Kim Jong Il who provided a sure guarantee for the bright future of Kim Il Sung's Korea.

The atmosphere of the anniversary of war victory revved up amid the playing of song "Revolutionary Armed Forces Upholds Leadership of Marshal Only" which reflects the will of the army and people of the DPRK to remain loyal to Marshal Kim Jong Un.

The spectacular and fascinating scenery of fireworks hardened the conviction of the army and people that only victory and glory are in store for the DPRK.
