Campers Groups Visit Mangyongdae
Pyongyang, July 27 (KCNA) -- Foreign and overseas Korean campers groups to participate in the 29th Songdowon International Children's Camping visited Mangyongdae, the birthplace of President Kim Il Sung.

Being briefed on the life of the President, they looked round the historic relics preserved at the old home in Mangyongdae with much care.

At the end of the visit, the head of the Tanzanian international children's camping group said:

The visit offered an opportunity to come to know about the history of the Korean revolution.

The President was born at a simple thatched house and devoted his all to the country and its people.

He was an outstanding leader and tender-hearted father of the people.

The Korean people are, indeed, blessed with illustrious leaders.

The deputy head of a Russian children's camping group expressed her surprise at the fact that the President was born into a simple family and grew up to be a great revolutionary, adding that it was for this background that he could liberate the country and build prosperous socialist Korea. It is pleasure for the campers to come to know about his childhood, she stressed.

They also visited the Arch of Triumph, Pyongyang Folklore Park, Rungna Dolphinarium, etc.
