DPRK's War Victory Brings about Beginning of Decline for U.S. Imperialism
Pyongyang, July 25 (KCNA) -- The DPRK's victory in the 1950-1953 Korean War brought about the beginning of decline for the U.S., which boasted of its great military and economic potentials as well as of its history of 100-odd years of aggression.

The U.S. mobilized two million-strong forces in the war, along with latest weaponry. But its numerical and technical superiority over the Korean People's Army was overpowered by the superb stratagem and tactics of President Kim Il Sung.

As for the U.S. defeat in the war, Western media ridiculed that the myth of U.S. invincibility was no more than a fiction.

After the war, the U.S. prestige in the world's arena began to sharply weaken.

National liberation and anti-imperialist, anti-U.S. struggles gained further momentum worldwide, fuelled by the Korean people's victory in the war. At least 50 nations had attained their independence from the imperialists' colonial rule until the late 1960s.

The Korean people's victory in the war signaled the advent of a new era of global independence.
