Jonsung Revolutionary Site Draws Endless Stream of Visitors
Pyongyang, July 25 (KCNA) -- An endless stream of service personnel and people, school youth and children visited the Jonsung Revolutionary Site on the occasion of the 61st anniversary of the victory of the Korean people in the Fatherland Liberation War.

At least 206,000 persons of over 1,720 organizations have visited the site in the past one year since the site was renovated.

In this historic place President Kim Il Sung led the war to victory, staying from January, Juche 40 (1951) to December, Juche 42 (1953).

There are the office of the President, a house where he guided the work of the military commission, a house where he examined and ratified the document of the armistice agreement, etc.

The visitors laid bouquets before the mosaic depicting the President and paid tribute to him.

Going round different places of the site, they deeply grasped the undying feats he performed by leading the war to victory and protecting the destiny of the country and the nation from the aggression of the imperialist allied forces.

They were moved to hear that he unrolled a far-reaching plan for postwar rehabilitation and construction, foreseeing the victory in the war even under the hard conditions during the war decisive of life and death and he showed profound loving care for the people by making sure that the compulsory free medical care and other popular polices were enforced.

Many overseas Koreans and foreigners also visited the historic site and highly praised the President as the outstanding strategist who recorded a brilliant chapter in the history of the anti-imperialist, anti-U.S. struggle.
