Pyongyang, July 23 (KCNA) -- Foreign papers carried special write-ups on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung.

The Russian paper Pri Armurskiye Wedomostsi on July 11 carried an article illustrated with the portrait of the smiling President.

The paper said that the President, who made a great contribution to the struggle for the reunification of the country and the accomplishment of the global cause of independence, is deeply revered by all people as an incarnation of noble virtues.

It went on:

He was, indeed, the most prominent leader representing the 20th century, peerless great man and great sage of mankind.

The people in different parts of the world continue expressing reverence for his feats and noble personality.

His idea and cause will last forever.

The Vietnamese paper Nhan Dan on July 15 ran an article titled "DPRK shows special interest in development of education".
