A swimming contest of officials from commissions, ministries and national institutions is to start at the Changgwang Health Complex in Pyongyang on July 28. The contest will be held in individual and team events, divided into four groups.

A national Taekwon-Do all-star tournament for Jonsung Cup will run in Hamhung City on July 29-August 4. The tournament, to be attended by senior first-division players, will select a top player in sparring event.

A national Paduk (go) contest, to be held divided into individual, team and mixed double events, will take place on a group round-robin and knockout basis.

Meanwhile, a selection tournament for swimmers representing the city of Pyongyang is under way for the 40th National Schoolchildren's Sports Contest for Jongilbong Prize.
