Kim Il Sung Remembered in Sri Lanka, South Africa
Pyongyang, July 22 (KCNA) -- A remembrance meeting was held in Sri Lanka on July 5 and a lecture was given in South Africa on July 11 on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of President Kim Il Sung's demise.

Displayed at the venues of the events were photos documenting the feats of the President and supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

On display there were books and photos introducing Songun Korea.

The events were attended by figures and people from all walks of life in those countries.

W. A. Duminduwardane, director of Asian Regional Institute of the Juche Idea who is also chairman of the Committee of Self-Reliance Studies in Sri Lanka, said in a speech that though the President passed away, the world progressives revere him as the eternal sun of Juche.

Bonakele Majuba, secretary of the Mfumalanga Provincial Committee of the South African Communist Party, noted that the President fathered the great Juche idea and the Songun idea and performed the great feats on behalf of the country and its people and revolution with his tireless leadership.

He said that the feats performed by the President for mankind would go down in history.
