KPA Service Personnel Visit Hyangha Revolutionary Site
Pyongyang, July 19 (KCNA) -- Service personnel of the Korean People's Army (KPA) visited the Hyangha Revolutionary Site on July 18 on the occasion of the 61st anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War. The site is associated with the feats performed by President Kim Il Sung in winning the war.

They placed a floral basket and bunches of flowers before the statues of the President and leader Kim Jong Il in Kanggye City and paid tribute to them and then held a meeting before leaving for the site.

Speakers at the meeting said that through their visit to the revolutionary site the service personnel should deeply grasp the undying revolutionary feats of the peerless great men and prepare themselves to be those strong in idea and faith.

After the meeting the service personnel visited the revolutionary museum in Jagang Province and marched toward the revolutionary site.

There are at the site which is located in Janggang County, Jagang Province the relics in which the President organized the Third Plenary Meeting of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea during the war and led the whole party and army and all the people to win the war.

There are also houses where he stayed, took meals and talked to people, the place where the plenary meeting was held, a spring site and other relics.

Looking round several places of the site, the service personnel grasped again the personality of the President as a great man and his noble traits.

Meanwhile, service personnel visited the cemetery of fallen fighters of the Korean People's Army in Hamhung City, South Hamgyong Province.
