In the period, swimming pools, water parks and beaches across the country are crowded with citizens, schoolchildren in particular, every day.

Choe Hi Dok, a teacher of Janghyon Primary School in Moranbong District, Pyongyang, said at the wading pool in Mangyongdae Amusement Park:

Any children in a maritime country should be good at swimming. So, all the pupils at my schools are now earnestly learning to swim.

It's my routine to enjoy at the swimming pool of the factory after work. My daughter, a kindergartener, began learning how to swim at this pool.

At present, beaches in the east and west coastal areas, including Songdowon International Children's Camp, Majon and Ryongsupho, are packed with many schoolchildren and other citizens from different parts of the country.
