Nigerian Organization Observes Anniversary of Birth of Kim Hyong Jik
Pyongyang, July 16 (KCNA) -- The Nigerian National Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism posted an article titled "Jiwon" on its website on July 5 on the occasion of the 120th birth anniversary of indomitable revolutionary fighter Kim Hyong Jik.

The article said:

The word Jiwon means that one must aim high.

It reflects the profound idea that one should achieve the independence of the country at any cost by struggling generation after generation and build a new society in which the people are masters.

It was Kim Hyong Jik who propounded this idea.

He was an outstanding leader of the anti-Japanese national liberation movement in Korea.

He built schools wherever he went for the distant future of the country and devoted himself to the great work for training children to be successors to the revolution.

He paid special attention to the education of his children, making sure that the sacred struggle for the liberation of the country was given steady continuity.

Kim Hyong Jik's strong desire for the liberation of the country was successfully realized by President Kim Il Sung.

The President fathered the Juche idea and the Songun idea, guided by the noble idea of Jiwon, indicating the path of the Korean revolution and accomplishing the historic cause of the liberation of the country through the 20 year-long arduous anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle.

The DPRK is now making a leap forward to build a highly civilized socialist nation under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Kim Hyong Jik's idea of Jiwon will shine forever.
