Kim Il Sung Remembered in Foreign Countries
| Pyongyang, July 13 (KCNA) -- Remembrance meetings took place in Cuba, Poland and Finland on July 6 and 7 on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung.
On display at the venues of the meetings were photos documenting the exploits of the President, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.
Also displayed there were works of the peerless great men of Mt. Paektu and photos and books introducing Songun Korea.
The first vice-chairman of the Cuban Committee for Supporting Korea's Reunification lauded the President as the greatest man, saying that he had the honor of being received by the President.
The chairman of the Central Committee of the Poland-Korea Association said:
The President bequeathed the socialist power of independence, self-sustenance and self-defence in which the immortal Juche idea is embodied to the Korean people as his legacy.
The world knows no such a great revolutionary and outstanding leader like the President who made great contributions to the cause of human emancipation holding aloft the banner of independence against imperialism his all life.
The great exploits of the President will be everlasting along with the century.
The chairman of the Finnish Communists' League and the chairman of the Finland-Korea Society praised the whole life of the President as the one for the people, adding he is the eternal leader of not only the Korean people but the world progressive humankind.
A message to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting held in Finland.
