S. Korean Authorities Crack down on Reunification Movement of KCTU

Pyongyang, July 11 (KCNA) -- The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency searched houses of the former chairman for reunification and the incumbent director for reunification of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) on July 9, according to Voice of People, an internet paper of south Korea.

That day the police took such action on charges that they produced and distributed book "I ask the workers to work for reunification" the KCTU made in 2012 for its unionists.

It did such actions, asserting that the KCTU's contact with the South Headquarters of the Pan-National Alliance for Korea's Reunification was a violation of the "Security Law".
