He devoted his whole life to the independence, sovereignty and reunification of the country.

The document signed by him on July 7, 1994, the last period of his life, is one related to the north-south summit for the independent and peaceful reunification of Korea.

The compatriots in the north have lived, always holding him in high esteem.

There are more than 200 countries on the earth but it is only the north which can be singled out as the most closely united society among them.

The President rallied the compatriots in the north as one and turned the DPRK into the world's only country which achieved single-minded unity.

The DPRK is now standing high as a politico-ideological and military power and a scientific and technological power thanks to its single-minded unity.

That's why the compatriots in the north note with pride that single-minded unity is more powerful than any nuclear weapon.
