Kim Il Sung Praised by Chilean, Ghanaian Personages
Pyongyang, July 11 (KCNA) -- Chilean and Ghanaian personages made public statements on July 4 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung.

Eduardo Artes, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Chile (Proletarian Action), said:

The immortal banner held high by President Kim Il Sung is now fluttering in the standoff with the imperialists.

The President, who embarked upon the road of struggle for the country and people in his teens, created the immortal Juche idea soon after he started his revolutionary activities.

The banner of Juche held high by the President serves as a great motive power for the Korean people who are ceaselessly achieving amazing successes in the socialist construction while firmly preserving the independent stand, and for the world progressives struggling for global independence.

Although two decades have passed since the President's demise, his idea and exploits have eternal vitality.

The deputy general secretary of the National Democratic Congress of Ghana said that Kim Il Sung was the greatest man who turned the DPRK into a socialist country envied by world progressives with his outstanding idea and leadership.

His august name is kept in the hearts of the people of African countries for the distinguished contributions he made to the national independence and development of those countries.
