Message to Kim Jong Un from Syrian President

| Pyongyang, July 8 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK, received a message from Bashar al-Assad, president of Syria, on July 6. The president said in the message he offered this message to Kim Jong Un on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung, the founder of the DPRK. The message said: We are sharing the sincerest feelings with Your Excellency while looking back with solemnity on the day when HE President Kim Il Sung passed away. We express the belief that Your Excellency would always maintain the line of the Korean revolution set forth by President Kim Il Sung, the eternal leader, for the party, revolution, country, people and the global cause of independence. |
