Delegation of Oceania Remembrance Committee Visits Mangyongdae
Pyongyang, July 7 (KCNA) -- A delegation of the Oceania committee to commemorate the 20th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung and the 3rd anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il led by Co-Secretary General Raymond Ferguson, national secretary of the Australia-DPRK Association for Friendship and Culture, visited Mangyongdae, the birthplace of President Kim Il Sung.

Being briefed on the revolutionary history of the President who was born at a simple straw-thatched house and devoted his life to the victorious advance of the Korean revolution and the accomplishment of the cause of global independence, the guests looked round historic relics.

At the end of the visit the head of the delegation said:

Whenever I visit the old home in Mangyongdae, I am gripped by a new revolutionary emotion.

The President was born into a simple family and grew up, receiving revolutionary education from his parents from his childhood.

He embarked on the road of the revolution in his early years and achieved the historical cause of Korea's liberation. His feats are becoming a good model of revolutionaries.

Meanwhile, the delegation visited the Tower of the Juche Idea, Arch of Triumph, Pyongyang Folklore Park, Pyongyang Cultural Exhibition, etc.
