Concert Given by General Association of Koreans in China
Pyongyang, July 7 (KCNA) -- A concert was given at the Songhuajiang Grand Theatre in Jilin City, China on July 3 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung. It was sponsored by the General Association of Koreans in China.

It was attended by Choe Un Bok, chairwoman of the association, and its vice-chairmen, Koreans in China, families of persons related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle, the consul general and staff members of the DPRK consulate general in Shenyang and staff members of branches of the DPRK working in the three provinces of Northeast China.

Korean artistes in China and Chinese artistes in the city gave the performance.

Put on the stage were immortal revolutionary hymn "Song of General Kim Il Sung", "Cantata to Marshal Kim Il Sung", "Our Leader Will Always Be with Us" and other songs praising his great revolutionary career.

Speeches were made at the concert.

Choe Un Bok said that the concert made the audience long for the President more ardently as it was given in Jilin City associated with the history of his leadership over the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle.

Hwang Jin Saeng, daughter of Hwang Paek Hwa who was an anti-Japanese patriotic martyr, recollected that during his revolutionary activities in the city the President had unforgettable ties with her father.

Zhang Qi, grandson of Zhang Weihua, Chinese anti-Japanese revolutionary martyr, said that Marshal Kim Jong Un is showing the same loving care for the family of Zhang Weihua as the President and leader Kim Jong Il did.
