Kim Il Sung's Exploits Praised by Foreign Figures
Pyongyang, July 7 (KCNA) -- Remembrance meetings took place in Serbia, Denmark, Sweden and Iceland on June 30 and July 1 on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung.

Displayed on the front wall of the venues of the meetings were portraits of smiling President and leader Kim Jong Il.

On display there were photos documenting the exploits of the President.

On show also were works of the peerless great men and books introducing Songun Korea.

Batric Mijovic, general secretary of the New Yugoslav Communist Party of Serbia, praised Kim Il Sung as an invincible and iron-willed commander and great leader who defeated the formidable U.S. and Japanese imperialist enemies and saved and glorified the destiny of the country and nation.

He said that the President made immortal contributions to the cause of global independence, adding his idea and exploits are shedding their brighter rays with each passing day.

Anders Kristensen, chairman of the Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association, stressed that the idea and cause of the President were firmly carried forward by leader Kim Jong Il and are being successfully carried forward to completion by Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Oskar Molleby, chief of the Swedish Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, said that the President was the prominent leader and eternal President who turned the DPRK into a socialist power of independence, self-sustenance and self-defence, adding that his exploits would be remembered forever by not only the Korean people but progressive humankind.

Messages to Kim Jong Un were adopted at the meetings held in Denmark and Sweden.
