Book "Great Statesman in 20th Century" Published in Nepal
Pyongyang, July 7 (KCNA) -- Book "Great Statesman in 20th Century" was brought out in Nepal to commemorate the 20th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung.

A book-releasing ceremony took place in Katmandu on July 1.

Hanging on the front wall of the venue of the ceremony was the portrait of the smiling President.

On display at the venue were photos documenting his exploits, works of the President, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un and books and photos introducing Songun Korea.

Present at the ceremony were Nepali personages from different social standings. Invited there were the DPRK ambassador to Nepal and his embassy officials.

The participants paid a silent tribute in memory of the President.

The minister for Women, Children and Social Welfare of Nepal said:

It is a great honor for the Nepali people to publish book "Great Statesman in 20th Century" on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of demise of the President, the great leader and sun, whom the world recognized and looks up to.

The book reflects the minds of not only the Nepali people but also the world progressives who are always missing and boundlessly revering the President.

The President founded the Juche idea, the guiding idea of humankind, and performed the world-startling great exploits.

The general secretary of the Central Committee of the Nepal Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist) expressed the belief that the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people would achieve bigger victory in the drive for building a thriving nation and in the standoff with the U.S. under the leadership of Kim Jong Un in the future, too.

The chairman of the Nepal Journalist Association for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Politics highly praised Kim Il Sung as the father of people and the sun of mankind.
