Organization for Supporting Korean Schools in Japan Formed
Pyongyang, July 5 (KCNA) -- The Ibaragi Society for Defending Rights of Children of Korean Schools, an organization for supporting Korean schools, was inaugurated in Ibaragi Prefecture, Japan.

The inaugural meeting took place at the Tsuchiura Citizens Hall in the prefecture on June 26.

The contents of activities of the organization and its rules were announced at the meeting.

The organization declared that it would request the Japanese government to give the students of the Korean schools an opportunity to receive education on an equal footing, positively conduct activities for letting broad segments of Japanese people know about the Korean schools, organize study session on Korean schools, learn Korean culture and deepen exchange.

The meeting elected co-representatives and advisers of the organization.

Choe In Thae, principal of Ibaragi Korean Primary and Senior High School, gave a lecture.

It was followed by a social gathering.
