Andy Brooks, general secretary of the Central Committee of the New Communist Party of Britain, said that Kim Il Sung was not only a great revolutionary and prominent thinker and theoretician but also a brilliant strategist who beat back formidable U.S. and Japanese imperialism in one generation.

Kim Il Sung was a great man who proved in practice for the first time in history the truth that the popular masses can do anything when they are aware of their own strength, the general secretary said.

The President founded the Juche idea and built Korean-style socialism, which are the eternal treasures of progressive humankind, he noted.

The President's revolutionary cause was successfully carried forward by leader Kim Jong Il, he stressed, adding:

Kim Jong Il foiled the U.S. imperialists' moves to stifle the DPRK and turned it into a nuclear weapons state and a military power.

We are convinced that the Korean people would as ever achieve successes in the building of a thriving nation and in the confrontation with the U.S. as they are led by Marshal Kim Jong Un who is successfully carrying forward the idea and cause of Kim Il Sung.

Michael Chant, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Revolutionary Communist Party of Britain (Marxist-Leninist), praised Kim Il Sung for founding the undying Juche idea to indicate the road to be followed by humankind.
