Nyongbyon County Juvenile Sports School in DPRK
Pyongyang, July 3 (KCNA) -- The Nyongbyon County Juvenile Sports School in the DPRK is well-known for producing a number of weightlifting aces.

The school, which has bagged more than 100 medals at national games of juvenile sports schools in recent 10 years, sent 30-odd excellent weightlifters to the country's leading teams, six of them to the national sports team.

Among them are Ri Su Yon of the Chobyong Sports Team and Ri Jong Hui of the April 25 Sports Team.

Ri Su Yon came first in the total standings of women's 44 kg category at the 2012 Asian Junior and Juvenile Weightlifting Championships and the 2013 World Juvenile Weightlifting Championships.

Ri Jong Hui took the first place in total points of women's 48 kg category at the Asian Cup and Interclub Junior and Senior Weightlifting Championship held in Pyongyang in September 2013.

There are also Pak Jong Ju of the April 25 Sports Team and Kim Yun Jong of the Amnokgang Sports Team, who proved successful at international and national tournaments.

Rim Sun Nam, Rim Kwang Chun and Paek Hyon Hui, weightlifting coaches of the school, told KCNA that they would work hard to produce more reserve weightlifters, true to supreme leader Kim Jong Un's intention to turn the DPRK into a sports power.
