Progress Made in Project for Expanding Fruit Farms in DPRK
Pyongyang, July 2 (KCNA) -- The project for expanding the Kosan Fruit Farm is now progressing apace in the DPRK.

80 percent of the project has been already carried out thanks to the devoted efforts of the Construction Shock Brigade 618, which undertakes the project.

The brigade members from Jagang and North Hamgyong provinces finished their task of land rezoning by introducing rational methods. They also carried out ahead of schedule their assignments for hollow digging, carriage of organic fertilizer and fruit tree planting in several hundred hectares.

Signal progress was made in drainage canal digging and road paving, too.

Those from South Phyongan Province and Nampho City have carried out their daily plan for road paving at 150 percent by raising the utilization rate of movable mixers and horizontal vibrating compactors.

Similar successes were made in other works for the project, including structural construction and concrete prop production, by those from other provinces and Pyongyang City.
