Russian Military Orchestra Visits Mangyongdae
Pyongyang, July 1 (KCNA) -- The Central Military Orchestra of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation led by Chief Conductor Valery Khalilov, head of the military orchestra service of the Armed Forces of Russia, visited Mangyongdae, the birthplace of President Kim Il Sung.

Being briefed on the immortal story associated with the old home in Mangyongdae, the guests looked round the historic relics preserved with much care.

Meanwhile, members of the central military orchestra visited the Songdowon International Children's Camp on Tuesday.

They laid bouquets before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il in the camp and paid tribute to them.

They gave a peculiar performance for the campers at the international friendship children's hall.

The chief conductor wrote in the visitor's book that the Songdowon International Children's Camp is a fairy tale-like house for children.

The central military orchestra also visited the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum, the Fatherland Liberation War Martyrs Cemetery, Pyongyang Kim Won Gyun Conservatory and other places.
