Alexandr Gromov, first secretary of the Khabarovsk Territorial Committee of the party, was elected chairman of the remembrance committee.

The committee decided to hold political and cultural events including a meeting to praise the revolutionary career of the President and his exploits on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of his demise.
